, but more specifically in mixing old influence with new shit in a way that fits your style. Not let’s say specifically the way dude mixed the leopard print tights with the cowboy boots and the green leather jacket, but in the more philosophical sense.
1Seriously, people are fucking with snapbacks again? I thought we all agreed that the New Era fitted cap was the de facto for the baseball cap. It’s superior in construction, materials and aesthetics, why are we going back to snap backs? That’s like rocking 8 track cassettes jsut for the fuck of it when you got an iPod. This is what happens when people stay up watching those reruns of A Different World and Martin on TVOne and they start getting nostalgia for shitty 90′s fashion.

And I’m with you on the snapback tip. I’m still “Pro-fitted” but from a retailers perspective a dope “one size fits most” cap is much easier to move than a size 8 that no one (besides me) would wear. So that move back to snapbacks is, I believe, rooted in business practicality than pure “style”. Does that make any sense?

But, then you grow up and get a better made hat thats actually fitted to your head you know? And I’m right there with you on copping the 8. Dudes at the New Era store are always like “Hmm, let me see if we got that…”

And where I’m from (South Carolina) there aren’t a lot of streetwear vendors (Charlotte, North Carolina which is 3 hours away is the closest) so I don’t have many fitted hat options besides whatever the Lids is offering! HAHA I don’t like ordering hats online because they usually end up getting crushed during shipping.
