I like to pretend I know what the hell is going on with music and art and such. I fancy myself a bit of a pop culture connoisseur, but I’ll have to admit until about a week or two I had no clue who the hell Lady Gaga was. I was aware that she sings songs and dresses in the wild Barbarella-esque outfits, but I could safely say I never heard any of her songs because I’m not a sixteen year old girl and I don’t chill in Forever 21 or wherever the hell joints by chicks named Lady Gaga get spins. Prolly gets mad burn at joints like Curves for women during their stripper-obics pole dancing class.
However, in a bit of serendipity in the last week or so various sources (read: degenerate dudes I chill with & teh internets) have been talking about her recently discovered surprisingly ample posterior, and then today this remix drops featuring Kanye, Kid CUdi and Common. Honestly, I can’t say I’m really mad at this track at all, because the hook is infectious as hell with the lil piano twinkles and vocal coo-ing. Kanye does his Will Ferrel, dick joke rap which is usually pretty spot on in a corny way & CUdi does his sing songy rap schtick while Common hits us off with the Gap rap for everybody in the house wearing reasonably priced chinos who still likes to get down. Good look.
